2013 is just around the corner… I can’t believe it!
But before we get to the new year, let’s have a quick look back at 2012. I published almost 150 posts this year (!!!) and ate out A LOT. A crazy amount, actually. Probably a bit too much.
However. No regrets. 🙂

Christmas this year was filled with lots of eating and canapes, very little photo taking, more cricket than usual, and parents (three sets). Here’s Christmas 2012 in photos.

My recall of events and experiences isn’t particularly great – once I’ve done something I mentally move on and it’s out of my mind. That’s why it’s nice to have a blog where I can look back and go: oh yeah! I did that!
So in that spirit, and since it’s the last day of this year, let’s look back at 2011…

T’was the night before Christmas, and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The cats were asleep, all tucked in their beds.
While visions of mousies danced in their heads.

This week: Christmas shopping, American food, birthdays, pub food and picnicking.
Also, this donkey has nothing to do with anything, I just really liked it. So cute. Look at it: just look at it! It’s a leather DONKEY.

Summer summer summer is here! Warm days and sunshine always make me happy. 🙂 But rolling on… here’s a bit of my week.

After the excitement of
last week, this week was fairly quiet. Well – mostly. Work was busybusybusy. But that doesn’t lead to exciting eating, so this week’s post is mostly about random stuff I ate. (And it does get a bit random.)

Big week this week. I had several very good meals out – fun times!
But before I get into my week, the winner of the Streat tickets is
Miss T. Congrats for being lucky #8!

Hello! Another week down, another week closer to Christmas. EEP!
I had lots of CBF evenings this week. This was a “I can’t be bothered” dinner – a poached egg, ham, steamed broccoli and tamari.
