Absolutely beautiful! As is the case with architecture from countries with a bit of history. Love the shot of the giant pumpkin being weighed as well!

The pumpkin weighing was funny! The village holds a contest every year for the heaviest pumpkin. Ah, gotta love those quaint customs π

Stunning, Agnes! I’d be perfectly happy with more travel-not-food posts in the future, too π Golly, you actually went up the London Eye? Your photo is magnificent but gives me the heebie jeebies π Also… pumpkin weighing!!

Is the ice cream man about to retrieve a boat? A boat full of ice cream???
Agnes
October 27, 2010 @ 9:46 pm
Haha, the ice cream man was in Bosham and he’s unrelated to the man and his boat.
In Bosham, high tide floods some of the lower lying streets (it’s high tide in the photo). I don’t know why he chose there to park… though he is just out of the way of the high tide!

Beautiful photos! More to add to your wall montage?! π
Agnes

Ha, I would but it took so much effort to join all the photos up and put it on the wall that I don’t think I’ll be changing it for a while!

Please tell me they cooked that pumpkin after they weighed it….or at least carved it out and provided shelter for the homeless!

By the time pumpkins get to that size, they’re pretty much inedible! Such a shame, huh? I do like the idea of it providing shelter for the homeless tho. π

Nice photos,I like the one of our cottage-and the Pallant deli in Arundsel, but then I would!
Also, the long shot of the Eye is extremely evocotive of Whistler-ish London, and Spooks.
